TerraChoice Greens My Planet with AIR MILES

A new activity to add to the daily list – make greener choices!

Collectors of Canadian AIR MILES points will be happy to learn of a new addition to the consumer rewards program. It’s called My Planet. This recently launched program allows Collectors to redeem AIR MILES reward miles for over one hundred environmentally sustainable (greener) rewards. My Planet offers a wide selection of rewards from greener personal care products to charitable donations to organizations like the World Wildlife Fund. It even offers folding solar panels and credits toward residential Bullfrog Power. read more

Celebrating Sustainable Packaging

This past Earth Day, the Packaging Association of Canada (PAC) celebrated sustainable leadership at their second Gala in Toronto. Winners of the 2009 Sustainable Packaging Competition were recognized at this event for efforts made to lead the way toward environmental sustainability.

“The purpose of the competition is to recognize the leaders of the packaging community for their efforts in advancing the sustainable packaging movement in Canada and beyond,” explains James Downham, President and CEO of PAC.
