TerraChoice Greens My Planet with AIR MILES
A new activity to add to the daily list – make greener choices!
Collectors of Canadian AIR MILES points will be happy to learn of a new addition to the consumer rewards program. It’s called My Planet. This recently launched program allows Collectors to redeem AIR MILES reward miles for over one hundred environmentally sustainable (greener) rewards. My Planet offers a wide selection of rewards from greener personal care products to charitable donations to organizations like the World Wildlife Fund. It even offers folding solar panels and credits toward residential Bullfrog Power.
Where does TerraChoice come in?
TerraChoice partnered with AIR MILES to help them develop two important aspects of this innovative and cutting-edge consumer loyalty program. First, TerraChoice developed a scientifically-sound screening criteria to help AIR MILES select rewards for My Planet. Next, TerraChoice worked on the development of the My Planet Program Principles. These principles, which form the backbone of the My Planet program, have the ultimate goal of advancing environmental stewardship through directly supporting My Planet sustainability objectives. These include reducing CO2 emissions, reducing harmful chemicals, and conserving natural resources.
