The EcoLogo and TerraChoice team are supporting Green Cleaning in Chicago this week at ISSA (International Sanitation Supply Association), North America’s largest janitorial and cleaning tradeshow. Along with more than 20 clients with EcoLogo certified products, our team will be demonstrating the benefits of green cleaning and third-party certification to visitors from all across North America.
The EcoLogo and TerraChoice team will be on site from October 7th–9th at booth #1947, located in the green pavilion at McCormick Place convention center in Chicago. This year, we have chosen the theme “putting together the big green picture” for our booth. The theme will link our EcoLogo, TerraChoice and TerraVeritas together with a strong message that says “together we make a cleaner, healthier environment.”
We also encourage show participants to visit our EcoLogo certified clients through an interactive contest we have designed specifically for ISSA. We will be giving out a grand prize package, which includes $5,000 in TerraChoice consulting services, a feature article about the winning company published in the next issue of eQ, and a Dahon folding bicycle. In order to qualify for the contest draw, participants must fill out an interactive ballot, which involves making a visit to EcoLogo clients’ booths.
On October 9th at 10 a.m., Executive Director Scot Case will educate attendees about the benefits of using environmentally-preferred cleaning products and EcoLogo third-party certification. Visitors are also welcome to take a free hard copy of our Seven Sins of Greenwashing Study and EcoMarkets Report. These documents will be available at the center’s resource library at ISSA, booth #2446.
